At VLC we understand that growth just doesn’t happen by chance. It takes both intentionality and accountability. Our Discovery Classes aim at helping people grow as Christians. The Discovery Classes are as follows:
Discover Connections!
The goal of this pillar is for people to discover the ministry plan at VLC as the church becomes Purpose Driven. This class will also cover life as a Christian and the value of being in Small Groups. This is a requirement for all new disciples at VLC.
Discover Discipleship!
The goal of this pillar is for people to discover ways to deepen their faith through Spiritual Habits. These Habits include different plans for Bible Reading, Meditation, Prayer, Giving and the Value of Small Groups to keep us focused.
Discover Ministry!
The goal of this pillar is for people to discover their specific ministry at VLC based upon your Spiritual gifts and how God has SHAPED you. Participants will take a Spiritual Gift inventory.
Discover Mission!
The goal of this pillar is for people to discover their specific mission in the world and to be come more comfortable with Evangelism and bringing the world back to God.
Discover Worship!
The goal of this pillar is to see Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives and worthy of worship on a daily basis.
